During her third year of law school, Nicole became a certified student attorney with the University of North Dakota School of Law Clinical Education Program where she represented clients in and out of the courtroom. As Symposium Editor for the North Dakota Law Review, Nicole published an article concerning methamphetamine in the North Dakota Law Review and also helped put together two symposia. She also enjoyed working with the Law Women's Caucus where the organization won an award as the Outstanding Student Organization during her presidential term. Nicole's contributions to these various organizations presented her with several awards including the National Association of Women Lawyers Outstanding 2006 Law Graduate nominee, 2006 Outstanding Third-Year Law Student, 2006 Outstanding Clinic Student Attorney, and 2006 Outstanding Student Leader. Nicole currently resides in Foley, Minnesota.
